## Rhythm of the Heart

### Unlock the Music Within: A 10-Week Journey for Adult Learners

Stop just "playing notes" and start making music.

### Course Overview:

Rhythm of the Heart is a 10-week foundational music course specifically designed for adults. It moves beyond mechanical learning to focus on the "human element" of music—blending advanced theory with soulful, expressive performance.

The course is designed to be highly accessible, utilizing GarageBand on iPad or iPhone as the primary workstation. This allows students to master complex concepts without the need for expensive studio gear.

### Core Curriculum & Skills

Students will journey through a curriculum that prioritizes musical "feel" and sophisticated harmony:

*Sophisticated Harmony:** Learning to use 9ths, 13ths, and 6/9 chords to create lush, professional textures.

*Modal Colors:** Exploring the unique moods of the Lydian, Melodic Minor, and Aeolian scales.

*Rhythmic Groove:** Developing mastery over syncopated rhythms.

*The "Humanizing" Process:** Moving beyond the "grid" of digital music to ensure tracks feel alive and played by hand.
